Incoming SMS sounds

When you receive an incoming SMS text message, you will hear a sound. You can create your own custom sound for incoming SMS messages.

Note: Check the table to see if your device supports this type of content.

1.Save the sound in OGG Vorbis format.

There are many free conversion tools online that you can use to convert .WAV and .MP3 files to this format, for example, Audacity for Windows or Mac.

2.Set the sample rate to be 8000 Hz, 16000 Hz or 22050 Hz and sample size to 16-bit.

Tip: Make sure that the message is not too long and that the volume is loud enough.

3.Save the file to the root folder of your device with the filename smsreceived.ogg.
